Educational Therapist (Literacy/Numeracy)
Siti Mariam is a passionate and experienced educator with a proven track record of success in teaching both adults and young learners. She is particularly skilled in supporting students with special educational needs, such as dyslexia.
After graduating from the National Institute of Education (NIE) with a Diploma in Education, Siti Mariam began her teaching career as a form teacher in a primary school, where she taught English Language and Mathematics.
In 2013, Siti Mariam joined the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS) as an educational therapist. At DAS, she provided specialized literacy and Math remediation to students with dyslexia. She also trained and supervised new educational therapists, and delivered workshops and certificate courses to educators and caregivers. After attaining her Master of Arts in Special Educational Needs from the University of South Wales, she subsequently joined the training arm of the DAS, the DAS Academy and continued to provide exemplary training and support for new and experienced educators.
